founder & creative director
Damon, once a design student at North-Metro TAFE and Curtin University, transitioned into a seasoned professional, working with enterprises like P&A Consulting and Victor Chandler in the UK before returning to Perth. His pivotal role at tech startup Quickflix led to a substantial investment from HBO Time-Warner. It was after this achievement Damon caught the entrepreneurial bug and decided to establish Function in 2012. He’s a hands-on professional with a passion for branding, UI/UX design, fostering close client relationships, and expanding Function as a versatile design agency.
graphic & web designer
Aznita came from humble beginnings in 2020 as an intern during her final year at Curtin University to swiftly becoming a valuable asset at Function Creative. Her passion for developing brand identities thrived with Function, as seen with her contributions to the development of Starbloom Paediatrics and Classroom of Hope. Aznita also found a new love for web design and development, which makes for a unique blend of expertise to have at Function. Aznita further offers her design expertise and organisation know-how as Vice President of the Western Swifts and committee member of QBWA.
digital illustrator & graphic designer
Zoey is a recent graduate of North-Metro TAFE (not before completing her studies at Curtin University), and joined the Function team in 2023. She is a key player at Function with her keen eye for digital illustration and brand cohesion, as well as recently being recognised as Winner in the National Interact – Vocational Category at the Design Institute of Australia’s Graduate of the Year Awards 2023. Beyond these achievements, Zoey regularly volunteers her design skills to various not-for-profit organisations, including TedxPerth and Tokyo Alley, demonstrating her commitment to making a positive impact through design.
